Prevention Bulletin STSB: Learning from near misses and accidents

Numerous reported accidents and serious incidents in aviation must be investigated in depth in order to properly assess their prevention potential. Many events already provide valuable insights for safety, even if a formal investigation is not necessary for reasons of effectiveness and efficiency.
