Statistically, airproxes and mid-air collisions are rare, especially in commercial aviation. But the risk can inevitably strike, as we saw this week in Washington DC. In General Aviation (GA), on the other hand, mid-air collisions are a major risk. In EASA member states, there are an average of six fatal mid-air collisions each year, which tragically result in the loss of 13 human lives every year.<\/p>\n

In this respect, the topic of \u201cSee and Avoid\u201d is more relevant than ever. The current issue of \u201cSunny Swift\u201d<\/a> is also dedicated to this topic. The motto is: \u201cSee and be seen.\u201d What does that mean? There are now numerous digital aids to help us improve our situational awareness.
