All of them occurred during takeoff, landing, or approach. An accident report from Germany was also published recently. In that case, the accident was caused by the aircraft exceeding its performance limits during a turn with a large bank angle, resulting in a collision with the ground.<\/p>\n<p>Takeoff and landing are the most risky phases of a flight\u2014especially at small, uncontrolled airfields.
