Bern Tower News: VFR Arrival and Departure Step-by-Step

On March 19, 2026, with the introduction of the southern approach (RNP 32) to Bern Airport, the newly configured airspace (CTR and TMA) will also come into effect. In addition to the revised airspace structures, various procedures have been revised, optimized, and updated. In a special “Bern Tower News” edition, Skyguide explains the basics of this new airspace to VFR pilots, as well as the new approach and departure procedures step by step.
