Flight Safety Dialog 2025 in German
This year’s Flight Safety Dialog will focus primarily on topics from the gliding sector. However, these are also of interest to other aviation participants.
Prof. Alfred Ultsch, an enthusiastic glider pilot and flight instructor himself, will present the concept of Safety II. Maxime Petitpierre, Safety Officer of the Swiss Gliding Association, presents the safety work in the association and Andreas Duppenthaler, gliding instructor at SG Basel/Fricktal, shows how the safety strategy is implemented in the day-to-day running of the club, using two practical examples. Finally, Melanie Streit from Skyguide air traffic control will present the issue of visibility in airspace E from the perspective of the tower. Participation can only be done online. The link for the online event will be published on staysafe.aero and aeroclub.ch about a week before the event.

Aero Friedrichshafen 2025
How do I test my ELT? How do I prepare for a flight to Switzerland/the Alps? What do I have to consider when flying my UL to Switzerland? What do I have to pay attention to when flying in airspace Echo (E)? And what happens if I don’t close my flight plan? You will receive expert answers to all these and many other questions from our experts at our AERO trade fair stand in hall 5.
This year, we will also be presenting a wide range of safety promotion material, including the revised edition of the VFR Pilot Guide Switzerland in waterproof paper, the new credit card-sized safety card for reporting incidents, and many cool gadgets. Come by, we look forward to seeing you!
